BB&T bank officials say they hate to see anyone pull their account.
But if a customer wants out because of the bank’s policy on eminent domain, it won’t try to stop them.
Charleston Urban Renewal Authority board members voted last week to seek bids from other banks because BB&T announced in January it would not finance private-use redevelopment projects on private property seized by eminent domain.
I just might have to consider moving to BB&T. They get it!
